Lemon Basil Oil
This recipe is delicious and so good for you!Lemon basil oil is the French version of pesto. It's also a cheaper version of pesto because you leave out the parmesan cheese and pine nuts. I think that lemon basil oil is excellent for so many things. I love to baste it on meats, as I grill them. It's wonderful on corn on the cob, as a salad dressing, drizzled over tomatoes, over potatoes, the list goes on and on.
Ingredients
- 4 Cups Fresh Basil leaves
- ¾ Cup Organic Olive oil
- Two lemons zested and juiced
- One teaspoon Pink salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in Vitamix or blender and blend until smooth. Pour in glass jar and drizzle on everything! Will keep for seven days in Refrigerator.
